Spoonflower and Keys

I was so happy the first time I discovered Spoonflower, but I have never had a chance to design my own fabric. I use a lot of linen and at that time they didn't have a linen available, so I kept putting off the joy of designing. Just before Christmas they came out with linen and I was so excited. I use linen to line my cuffs so I went searching through all of the beautiful fabric others had designed. Both of these are destined for some new cuff designs and new embroidery styles....I can't wait to share them with you in the near future!

I also just bought some antique keys and watch parts from GUS Supply and will be making cuffs to go along with my continued story, "Key Triangulation." I hope to share that with you soon as well. I'm also waiting for two other special purchases...one will be my muse.

I also can't wait to see what you do with those keys. Everything you make is a sublime work of art.

OMG, I didn't realize you can buy fabrics designed by others on Spoonflower! I was so enamored by the thought that you could design the fabric when Spoonflower first came out, but thought it was too daunting... now you give me another reason to check back. Thanks and can't wait to see what you make with these 2 fabrics!

Isn't Spoonflower just the greatest! I really want to design my own fabrics but have to get in that 'mode' first I guess. :) Look forward to seeing your designs!
