Yeah, I have spring fever. The aloe is blooming and so the hummingbirds should be going nuts. The grapevines, peach tree, and pomegranate tree are all getting their leaves. Spring sprung early in the desert.
beautiful photos, Rose! Saguaro cacti had me spellbound the first time I saw them near Tucson at sunset many years ago. ALl the pics remidn me of the trip.
Thanks for the compliments. Yes, the desert certainly has its own beauty and I have come to appreciate it. Coming from the "green" midwest it took me a while to get use to this type of landscape.
Oh gosh! I'm in what feels like month 129846 of full-on snow, and the view of these cacti (that's the proper plural spelling, right?) makes me loooooooooong for warm weather! I suppose it could be worse, I *could* be shoveling sand... ;)

Rose, your photos are stunning! I love the desert cactuses. They are especially beautiful when they bloom.

Beautiful and inspiring. I'd forgotten the beauty of the prickly pear (we lived in Texas, eons ago.) Thanks for refreshing those memories.
I love succulents. Very nice pictures.
