Remodeling a Blog

I haven't dropped off the face of the earth....really

My blog is almost two years old and I think it's time for a facelift.

I'll leave you with these words....please comment and tell me what they mean to you...

Improvement makes straight roads
But the crooked roads without improvement
Are roads of genius

--William Blake

My self imposed deadline is February 1st!

Hi Rose; Will be looking forward to what the "crooked road" leads to! It will be terrific to see what you come up with to showcase your wonderful work, that of others and other things that the remodeling brings along!

the randomness of crooked roads brings the freedom to travel and explore with no pre-conditions or expectations.
straight roads, while easier to travel, are determined and lacking in imagination.
rose, may you always allow yourself to travel freely.

Mine so needs a facelift. I just have to fit it in with everything else.

Tell you what, you do yours by Feb 1st and I will take that as a sign that I can do it too!

the crooked road, for me, is when I'm playing with a design, seeing where it leads me. straightening the road out afterwards is sorting my pattern, making it ready to go.

crooked roads are more fun, but straight roads make for easier journeys.

Wonderful quote. I tend to think that traveling down the crooked path is how you find improvements. ♥

Sometimes the best things in life come from the unexpected and unforced.

Just saw your Starry Night cuff - to die for!

Just wanted to stop by and say hello!

Hi Rose, the new blog is coming all wonderfully! The words mean to me (but I could be full of it;) that the crooked roads require me to adapt to change and move at a slower pace that allows me to take in more of my surroundings. A person becomes more enlightened this way, and because there is a road either way, one can still move forward.

I'll visiting here more often.
xoxo,
Sharon

I must look again, but I could not find how to follow your blog! Looking forward to a new look blog. Maybe the crooked road is the path less traveled?
