Arizona and Snow

We drove up to Flagstaff on Friday to pick up materials for our business and even though I had heard that it had snowed I was amazed to see it on the San Francisco Peaks. It is mid May and this is Arizona! It always amazes me how weather diverse this state is. We left Phoenix and it was in the low 90s and arriving in Flagstaff it was in the low 60s and this was around 3:00 in the afternoon. It would have been fun to go play in the snow, but there wasn't enough time --so I took pictures!

I haven't been to Flagstaff in years and years. It's pretty late for snow, isn't it? Pretty...

Yes, it is pretty late for snow. And, they got a lot of this winter --made the skiers happy!

Flagstaff is chilly compared to Phoenix and Tucson, that's for sure. We visit Arizona every fall and always when we make our way up north it's a rude change! Beautiful picture!

That is an amazing shot! Snow isn't the first thing I think of when I think "Arizona". And enough snow in the winter for skiing too. Just amazing.

Love your new bridal cuff! So ethereal and sparkling!

Wow, at first glance I thought you said you're here in San Francisco and saw snow! Now that would be really weird. We too saw those snowy peaks when we were visting Sedona a few weeks ago, it's pretty amazing. :)
