If...

If I had known when I joined Etsy that there was no turning back when choosing a name then I wouldn't be recreating my shop a year and a half later. What? Why did you wait so long? Well, I thought for sure that Etsy would realize it's mistake and very soon allow shop owners to fix their mistake --well at least one time! Has it happen yet you ask? Well, no.  That's why I'm here to announce my new shop Waterrose .

As of today, I have only moved over three of my items. I decided that new pictures were warranted...so during daylight hours you can find me scurrying back and forth between picture taking, editing and posting. But like the rest of you I have other activities that keep me busy --laundry, dinner-making, reading the etsy forum, waiting for a treasury to open  ...the crucial things in life! Oh, and I'm also a quilt maker, so I'll leave you with my almost finished, newest creation. Let me know what you think

...oh are you wondering where I came up with the name Waterrose....I'll tell you later...

I love the name Waterrose and I too look forward to hearing how you chose such a catchy name. Has to be more interesting than how I came up with mine!! LOL

Congrats on your new shop! I love your stuff, as you well know, and I'm glad to see that you have chosen a name that is way more YOU!

I'm glad you liked G's story, it is a good one! Saturday is the finale, and then a new story starts on Sunday.

:)

Just beautiful!
(And that quilt takes my breath away!)
I have to go "heart" your new shop and I guess "unheart" the old one? Or are you going to use it for another craft?

altjou...I will be closing my rosez shop and have a second shop, greigh's layne with the proper user name, that will have vintage items.

There are a few people I know who have stalled getting their Etsy account because they might want a shop down the road and do not want to put in any old name right now! So even from this perspective too you would think this stuck-with-the-name thing would've changed by now! LOL
Well anyways, Waterrose is a great shop name.

Oh Rose I am over the moon you have started a blog! I loved your first post about the book. That quilt is incredible - so much detail it must have taken an amazing amount of patience and work.

Looking forward to visiting and revisiting your new shop!

Sigh I am resisting a similar thing (shop url blinkingmouse - name prettylittleloveobjects). I just feel it would be so much effort to start again - let me know how it goes.
