I love the thought of exploring an old place like this... finding some bit of pottery and shard of that from hundreds of years ago and wondering about who might have used it... A lot of fun...

It is a beautiful place and up on the continental divide so it is very high up. That the reason it is a ghost town, too cold and snowy most of the year. Yea, I wouldn't want to be there at night either.

Followed the links from entrecarde- never been to Ouray even though I lived in Colorado for 22 years. I remember well there was a girl in school that every summer went to Camp Chief Ouray and I was jealous cause I never went to camp... sob sob.
