Last time I drove through the far east valley, I saw the lupine and I was like "look, that's lupine!" and someone in the car said, "that only grows in high desert" and I was like "well, not one told that flower, cause it's growing here." Hee hee

Gorgeous photos of gorgeous flowers! I'm especially fond of the golden poppy on what looks like a periwinkle background...
Wildflowers are blooming along the interstate highways here, and I was awed by the red poppies and purpley-blue lupines.
BTW, I was waxing nostalgic about another favorite -wisteria- on my blog, thanks to one of your cuffs, which I featured!

My family and friends call me "flower fanatic." I love what nature brings us during the blooming seasons... I love your pics of the desert flowers, especially globemallow and wild heliotrope. Thank you for showing me the other side of a area far from me. (I live in Iowa)

These are so lovely, and so different than what I see in the midwest.

How colorful the desert is with all those wildflowers! I didn't realize there were so many there.
