Hi there! I have never seen a road runner (except in that silly cartoon) so was pleased to see a real one close up and sort of personal...Thanks for sharing!
You're welcome. If you click on the picture you can see him even more closely. I took the pictures out by studio window. I see them almost daily right now, along with other animals. As I can catch a picture of them I do. I haven't been able to get a shot of the coyotes yet.
seriously..that's a roadrunner? the only ones I have seen are the cartoon roadrunner, never seen a real one, so it was fun to see it here. happy weekend :D
Thanks for the kind words you left today. I am sorry for your loss. My friend had no family besides us friends. She was a special lady and I was glad to help. I hope you are doing well.
I don't think I can handle seeing the roadrunner. It really makes me nostalgic. Awesome shots. Your site is always soooo much fun to visit. I think that when I get tagged, or when I get an award I always want to give it to you.
Cool! We've had a roadrunner ... actually, according to my neighbor there are two, a mating couple we all assume ... hanging around our parts for a couple of years now. He/she/they are getting more "tame" so I can get photos fairly easy. I've got them on my blog, and I think I've uploaded them to my Flickr.
Have you given your Roady a name? We call ours Roady, and the other, if she truly exists, I dubbed Rosey. If we see any babies, the first will be Rocky. *lol*
Great shots. Doesn't look much like the cartoon one, does it? Yes, the roadrunner doesn't call Arkansas home, so I appreciate some clear, up-close shots of the critter as its not something I get to see every day.
Loved the picture of road runner. Living in calif i always wanted to see a real one. Someday soon going too. Thank you for sharing it with us! hugs ginger Happy Halloween
HA! I have roadrunner pics - I have one that hangs out in my courtyard. But I have to take pics through the window, or he runs away. These are great pics!

The second picture is good. The bird is in focus, the depth of field is good.
I love the photos, I've never seen a road runner before and so it's great to see a real "live" one. Thanks for sharing them!

I always felt bad for Wile E. Coyote, and wished that I held stock in "Acme" products!
I ♥ roadrunners. I've never seen on in the wild only at the San Diego Zoo. How awesome. :)
