I love it when handcrafted items, like pottery take on a life of their own. Have you ever seen Blue Willow pottery? I think it's beautiful and when I started thinking about making a cuff that pattern popped into my head. There is a lovely fairy tale that tells about a young couple who could not be together because of their different status in life.
